Ngāti Tahu-Ngāti Whaoa are intricately linked with the Waikato River. The River and its catchment are a resource of great cultural, historical, traditional and spiritual significance to the people of Ngāti Tahu-Ngāti Whaoa.  Our desire is to create  a journey of discovery as our Tupuna did and  retell the history of that journey within that area.
